Inspiring Aviation

Our longstanding partner campaign helping people of all ages discover the breadth of careers available across the aviation sector — from the roles you'd expect to the ones you'd never imagine.

CAA Careers and STEM Programme

The UK Civil Aviation Authority runs a dedicated careers and STEM programme designed to inspire young people to explore opportunities in science, technology, engineering, maths, aviation and aerospace. The CAA offers apprenticeships, graduate programmes, work experience placements and much more. Their interactive STEM website includes a 3D virtual airport where you can explore dozens of different career paths.

Talentview Aviation

A free-to-use platform funded by the Department for Transport, designed to help people in schools, colleges and universities find apprenticeships, placements, graduate roles and entry-level jobs across the aviation sector. Employers can also use it to showcase opportunities.

Reach for the Sky

Funded by the DfT and delivered by the CAA, this programme supports outreach projects across the UK that inspire young people — particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds — to pursue careers in aviation and aerospace. The fund has already reached over 100,000 young people nationwide.

No Matter Your Background

Aviation is for everyone. You don't need to have grown up near an airport, come from a particular background, or have followed a traditional academic path. There are routes into this industry through apprenticeships, traineeships, graduate schemes, career-change programmes and hands-on work experience.

The King's Trust — Get Ready for Careers in Aviation

Aviation Services UK is proud to have worked with The King's Trust, who run their 'Get Ready for Careers in Aviation' programme in partnership with the CAA. This free programme is open to young people aged 16–30 and offers interactive workshops covering career development, sustainability, and much more. It's designed to build confidence and open doors — especially for those who may not have considered aviation as an option before.

The King's Trust's mission is that every young person deserves the chance to succeed, and we couldn't agree more.
